Integra Credit Requirements and Eligibility

⏱ 6 min read ✓ Last reviewed Nov 7, 2026 📊 7 data sources
  • Age 18+ and a US resident — in one of Integra’s 24 licensed states.
  • Active checking account — required for both funding and automatic repayment.
  • Verifiable recurring income — employment, benefits, or self-employment all accepted with documentation.
  • No published credit-score floor — but a thin or frozen credit file will block the soft pull.

Our verdict: the bar is low by design — the cost is where Integra makes its margin.

Who qualifies for Integra Credit, what documents you need, how the credit check works, and the realistic criteria beyond what the public website states.

Basic eligibility requirements

To be considered for an Integra Credit installment loan or line of credit, you must meet all of the following published requirements:

  • Be at least the minimum legal age to contract in your state of residence (typically 18)
  • Be a resident of the United States, specifically in one of Integra's 24 serviced states
  • Have a valid, active US bank account (checking account preferred for direct deposit)
  • Have a valid email address
  • Have a working phone number
  • Have a regular, verifiable source of income

What Integra does not publish but checks

Beyond the public checklist, Integra's underwriting model evaluates signals it does not disclose publicly. Based on borrower reports and industry practice, these include:

  • Bank account age and balance history (connected via secure third-party aggregator during application)
  • Recent overdraft and NSF frequency
  • Income stability, deposit regularity, and employer consistency
  • Housing stability signals (address tenure)
  • Recent inquiries and open tradelines on your credit file
  • Public records including bankruptcies and judgments

Credit score requirements

Integra Credit does not publish a minimum credit score. The company explicitly serves borrowers with bad or limited credit, and in some cases will approve applicants with no mainstream credit file at all. In practice, borrowers with scores anywhere from the low 500s upward have reported approvals, provided other signals (income, bank account health) are acceptable.

What this means for you: If your FICO score is above 660 and you have steady income, you will almost certainly qualify for a lower-APR lender than Integra. Check Avant, Upstart, or your local credit union first.

Credit check: soft pull first, hard pull later

Integra performs a soft credit inquiry during the initial prequalification. This does not affect your credit score and does not appear on your credit report as a hard inquiry.

A hard credit inquiry is performed only when you accept a formal loan offer and move to the final approval stage. The hard inquiry does appear on your credit report and can lower your score by a small amount (typically 3 to 5 points) for a short period.

You can walk away from the application at any point before signing with no credit impact beyond the initial soft pull.

Documents and information you will need

Have the following ready before you start the application to speed the process:

  • Full legal name, date of birth, and Social Security number
  • Current home address and length of residence
  • Email address and mobile phone number
  • Employer name, position, and monthly income
  • Bank account number and routing number
  • Government-issued photo ID (may be requested for identity verification)

Reasons Integra may decline your application

Common decline reasons based on borrower reports:

  • You live in a state Integra does not serve
  • Insufficient or inconsistent income shown in bank account history
  • Recent bankruptcy or active collection accounts
  • Multiple active high-APR loans with other lenders suggesting borrower is overextended
  • Bank account too new or shows frequent overdrafts
  • Information on application does not verify against third-party data sources
  • Active open loan with Integra — most states limit to one loan at a time

If you are declined

A decline from Integra does not necessarily mean you cannot borrow. Options:

  • Check cheaper alternatives — sometimes a different lender's model will approve you
  • Try a credit union payday-alternative loan (PAL) if you are a member
  • Consider an employer-based earned wage access program
  • Wait 60–90 days to improve bank account history and reapply if your situation improves
